Cath entered this gorgeous picture in to my 2016 competition, and was one of the people shortlisted. It’s easy to see why….this room is lovely!

Cath has used a subdued colour palette to really show off both the high-class furniture, and to showcase her neat stitching. In front of the fireplace is a ‘Rosanna (red)’ carpet (with a cute dog lying on it!), and next to the carpet is a ‘Judith’ round footstool. A ‘Judith’ bellpull hangs beside the fireplace, and a ‘Judith’ firescreen protects the dog from the heat of the fire. On the sofa in the background are two cushions – ‘Sophie‘ and ‘Kate (pink)‘. On the sofa in the foreground is a ‘Summer Roses’ bolster cushion, and nearest to the camera on the right hand side is a ‘Flower ring pink’ tray cloth.
