CAT NEEDLE MINDER

This Cat needle minder is a wonderful sewing tool that you just can’t do without – it will help you to keep track of your needle when you are in the middle of stitching something and need to stop for a while.

Have you ever put your needle down and forgotten where you put it? Never lose your needle again – simply place it on this magnetic needle minder, and the strong rare earth (neodymium) magnet inside it will mean that your needle will ‘stick’ to the needle minder, keeping it safe.

This cute Cat needle minder design features a gorgeous image taken from a dollhouse scale needlepoint sampler design of mine, with the words ‘A house without a cat is not a home’. The original stitching was done in needlepoint on 32 count evenweave fabric, so the image on this needle minder shows the stitching at about life size. It would make a great gift for a stitching friend who adores cats, or a treat just for you!

HOW DOES A NEEDLE MINDER WORK?

The needle minder comes in two parts – there is a top piece which has a rare earth magnet inside, and a second rare earth magnet on its own. You just put the top piece on your fabric and place the second magnet underneath your fabric to hold the top piece in place. Place your needles on the top piece to keep them safe, and you’ll always know where they are! The magnets are very strong – they should even hold a small pair of embroidery scissors, or other small metal sewing equipment, such as a laying tool or stitch ripper.

This needle minder comes neatly packaged, mounted on card, and sealed in a polypropylene bag, suitable for giving as a gift. Please note that the needles and other accessories shown in the images are not included.
